IndiGo, GoAir to withdraw five Patna flights

Patna: Five flights are likely to be withdrawn from Jayaprakash Narayan International Airport (JPNI) in December owing to poor visibility conditions.
Officials at Patna airport said IndiGo and GoAir airlines have proposed to withdraw four and one flights, respectively, in their revised winter schedule, which would be made effective from December 1.
GoAir executives said one of their morning flights on Delhi-Patna route - G8 135 - was initially proposed to be withdrawn from December 1, but it has now been preponed to November 20. GoAir's another flight - G8 217 - on Delhi-Patna-Delhi route would also be suspended from December 1.
GoAir and IndiGo airlines have already cancelled one flight each till November 30. While GoAir has cancelled its G8 131 flight operating on Delhi-Patna-Delhi route, IndiGo has cancelled its 6E 633 flight operating on Kolkata-Patna-Lucknow route. Thus, total number of flights operating from city airport would come down from 36 to 29 in the ongoing winter season.
