Jet Airways adds three new international links in one day

Jet Airways began services from Bengaluru (BLR) to Amsterdam (AMS), Chennai (MAA) to Paris CDG (CDG) and Delhi (DEL) to Riyadh (RUH) on 29 October. The Chennai-Paris CDG sector is the longest of the new routes at 8,018 kilometres. It will be operated five times a week by A330-300s. The 7,691-kilometre Bengaluru-Amsterdam airport pair will be flown by daily A330-300 services. Neither of these two new European links faces any direct competition. The 3,037-kilometre Delhi-Riyadh route will be operated daily with 737-800s. Jet Airways faces direct competition from Saudi Arabian Airlines and Air India on this airport pair, with the incumbent carriers operating four and three frequencies respectively during the week commencing 31 October. anna.aero was on hand to witness the launch ceremonies at the Dutch hub.
