Mihan encroachers to get houses

Nagpur: Guardian minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule has decided to sanction houses to encroachers in Mihan, who were living there before 2001. Their houses will be constructed by Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA).
These directives were issued during a meeting of Maharashtra Airport Development Company (MADC) in Mumbai. There are about 500 encroachers in Mihan living since before 2001. 250 tenements will be constructed in urban areas and another 250 in rural areas.
Bawankule also directed MADC to chalk a plan for rehabilitation of Khapri residents and provide them land plots as soon as possible. He announced that Mahagenco's plan for providing employment to members of project affected families would be implemented. The companies in Mihan want skilled youths and hence MADC should impart skill development training to the PAP youths.
