Guwahati: AK Dutta, Member (CNS), Airports Authority of India today inaugurated the new ASR/MSSR at the LGBI Airport, Borjhar.DK Kamra, Regional Executive Director, North East Region, BK Tailong, Airport Director, LGBI Airport, and Venketeshwara L, General Manager (CNS), Airports Authority of India, attended the inaugural ceremony.
With continuing focus on upgrading ANS infrastructure to meet the anticipated air traffic growth, the Airports Authority of India has taken up installation of an Advanced Surface Movement Guidance and Control System at the airport, which will enhance the ground surveillance, leading to improved access and enhanced safety of aircraft operations.
