Underprivileged kids have fun at Airport

Shamshabad: GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd has celebrated with underprivileged children by hosting a fun-filled event for them at its premises here recently. Close to 50 underprivileged children from the orphanage of Don Bosco Navajeevan, Secunderabad and Auxilium Navajeevana, Uppal participated and enjoyed the function. These children were also taken to the Air Traffic Control tower (ATC).

To further jazz up the celebration, a band of 10 children from St. Theresa’s High School, ECIL Post, Hyderabad pleasantly captivated the attention of passengers and visitors with their electrifying live musical performance at Domestic Departure Boarding gate and airport village.

Various interactive and engaging programmes were also in store for young travellers at the airport. These activities included magic show, paper craft activity and special games, which were organized in the retail areas of domestic and international terminals.
