4 UAE women go 'missing' from Mumbai airport, traced in Hyderabad

Hyderabad:  Four women from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), who went missing after landing at Mumbai international airport a week ago, were traced in Hyderabad by the joint team of Hyderabad and Mumbai police.
About a week ago, the four women, in their early twenties, had landed at Mumbai international airport to tour India.
The women were from UAE and after landing in Mumbai they were supposed to contact their families back in UAE and inform about their safe arrival.
However, for reasons unknown they went incommunicado thereafter.
Their family members based in the UAE waited for a few days thinking that they might call.
However, as there was no communication from their end, their families sought help from the government.
UAE consulate officials in Mumbai then approached the police commissioner and a team of policemen tried to locate the four missing women by looking into their cell phone details.
As their phones were off, the police went to the immigration officials at the Mumbai airport.
