Amritsar: The Focal Point Industries Association (FPIA) has shot off a letter to Sri Guru Ram Das Jee International Airport director Manoj Chansoria to review the high parking charges at the airport complex.
FPIA chairman Kamal Dalmia said it was a matter of regret that despite writing various letters on the same subject, neither any action was taken nor any intimation was given.
The airport authority has rented out the parking lots in the international airport complex to a private contractor and its employees charge fee after lapse of five minutes.
The authorities have granted free of cost drop-in and pick-up charges for five minute duration.
