New Delhi: Russian held at IGI Airport for travelling on fake ticket
New Delhi, Dec 27 (UNI) The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) apprehended a Russian national for entering the Indira Gandhi International Airport on a fake ticket, here on Wednesday.
At around 0124 hrs, the CISF personnel noticed a foreigner roaming in check-in area, who was trying to escape from terminal-3 at IGI Airport. He was intercepted and enquired.
'On enquiry, the accused was identified as Anokhin Aleksei, a Russian national. He confessed that he entered the terminal by showing his passport and edited itinerary on mobile phone, bound for Moscow by flight SU-235, to see his friend off', an official said.
