Go Air’s flight G8465 to Delhi, schedule for departure at 12.05 pm, was delayed by nearly three hours, leaving many passengers frustrated. “Passengers were waiting at the airport since 10.30 am and the boarding call was supposed to be at 11.25 am. We could see the aircraft attached to the aerobridge, but we were kept waiting till 2 pm with no news about the take off. The flight finally left at 2.34 pm,” said former MLA Krishna Hegde.
“All Go Air flights were delayed by hours.”
Indigo’s flight 6E 168 to Delhi, scheduled for a 12.40 pm departure, too was delayed and eventually took off only at 3.25 pm
According to sources, passengers of an Indigo flight to Lucknow, flight 6E 6446, created a ruckus at the airport on Saturday night after their flight was delayed by around five hours.
Though the flight was scheduled for departure at 7.35 pm, it only left after midnight. Agitated passengers later alleged that the ground staff misbehaved with them and complained that the staff did not communicate properly.
