Kadapa: The Trujet Airliners will operate Kadapa-Vijayawada flight service from March 1, according to local airport director Pasupula Siva Prasad in a release here on Monday.
There are flight services from here to destinations like Hyderabad and Chennai. Soon a flight service to Vijayawada will be launched, he said, adding that airport development works with Rs 100 crores are underway.
The number of seats in airlines will increase from the present 72 to 170 soon. Amenities are being created to equip the airport with the night-landing facilities, he added. Airport fire superintendent Sarat was also present.
