IPS officer Robin Hibu lauds humanitarian gesture of Indigo airlines

Kangpokpi: A well acclaimed IPS officer of Aruncahal Pradesh and the first Joint Commissioner from NE region in the Rashtriya Bhavan Secretariat, Delhi, Robin Hibu, has stated that Indigo airlines is committed to the people of the North East States and its colossal humanitarian gesture towards the NE people is commendable.
Robin Hibu was speaking over the phone regarding the service of ferrying coffins for poor NE people free of cost from mainland cities by the airline.
He said that he met with Aditya Ghose, the Chief Executive Officer of the Indigo airlines recently at Indigo Airline Headquarters in Gurgoan, to convey his deep appreciation on behalf of the NE people and presented a NE shawl as a mark of gratitude for their commendable service.
“I was deeply touched when the CEO of the Indigo Airlines Aditya Ghose told me that Indigo will continue to help the NE poor people in mainland cities by ferrying the coffins of NE people from various cities for free”, said Robin Hibu while recalling his meeting with Aditya Ghose.
Robin Hibu further said that the Indigo airlines henceforth will recruit maximum number of NE youths as assured by the CEO and informed that all recruitment drive will be done through Helping Hands NGO who will forward the names of the candidates.
