AirAsia India launched services on its new domestic connection between Delhi (DEL) and Imphal (IMF) on 7 April. The LCC will operate the 1,717-kilometre airport pair with daily A320 flights. It faces incumbent competition in the form of Jet Airways and Air India, which will provide four weekly and twice-weekly flights on this route respectively during the week commencing 10 April. OAG schedules indicate that Imphal will be one of nine domestic destinations on offer from Delhi with AirAsia India during S18.
