Team of civil aviation officers briefs HP CM at Chandigarh

Shimla/Chandigarh: The process of developing an international level airport at Mandi has gained momentum as four members team of Airport Authority of India called on Himachal Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur at Chandigarh and briefed him on latest development on feasibility of the airport.

Experts in the  four members team, in meeting with the Chief Minister gave their feedback on pre feasibility survey on five identified different places in district Mandi by the government.

Vinod Puniyal, senior officer of the Airport Authority of India, who led the team Informed the Chief Minister that the data collected by the team will be evaluated in detail in Delhi and within next 15 days the team will submit the report to the State Government. The team in its report will recommend the site that meets all technical parameters.

He said Ner Dhangu of Balh sub-division, Basadhar and Gogradhar of Padhar sub-division, Moviseri in Gohar sub-disivion and Nandgarh in sadar mandi were included in the pre feasibility survey conducted by the team.
