Union Minister for Commerce & Industry and Civil Aviation Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu on Monday has assured Neiphiu Rio that centre will send a technical team to survey and carry out all necessary assessment for the final approval of the green-field airport at Ciethu Kohima.
This was conveyed to Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio when the latter called on Union Minister for Commerce & Industry and Civil Aviation Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu at his office.
According to Public Relations Officer Nagaland House, Delhi, both Rio and Prabhu also discussed various issues regarding civil aviation and air connectivity in the state besides discussion about finalizing the green-field airport project.
