Former AirAsia CEO resigns from Adani Group

New Delhi: Former AirAsia CEO Mittu Chandilya today resigned from the Adani group and soon be moving to Delhi in a new venture.

“After a lot of reflection; I have decided to resign from Adani as CEO, logistics. Tough to leave stellar people, however, I need to spend enough time with folks at home,” Mittu Chandilya tweeted today.

Sources in the know said that Chandilya wanted to leave the company, as he wanted to live with his family.

Mittu’s resignation has come at a time, when the Central Bureau of Investigation has registered a case against the airline for allegedly hiring lobbyist to change the 5/20 foreign flying norms.
