Jet Airways to start passenger, cargo service from Nashik from June 15

Nashik: Jet Airways will start its passenger and cargo service from Nashik from June 15, offering traders and industrialists from the region to ship their consignments across the country and abroad.
The 168-seater Boeing 737 will be used for the Nashik-Delhi sector. The airline has made provisions to carry cargo up to three tonnes and is in talks with Halcon, a joint venture between Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd and Container Corporation of India (Concor), to provide services of ground handling of cargo.
Initially, Delhi-Nashik return flights will be thrice a week, ie, on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The flight will take off from Delhi at noon and will land at Nashik at 2.05pm. From Nashik, the flight will take off at 2.35pm and will reach Delhi at 4.25pm.
The export of vegetables or other goods international destinations will be possible due to Delhi-Nashik return flights.
