SpiceJet will launch a daily Dash 8-400-operated service from its Delhi base to Kanpur from July 3 inaugurating yet another new route incentivised by India's Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS/UDAN).
The low-cost carrier was awarded the route as part of the initial RCS/UDAN batch in March 2017 but, according to the Hindustan Times, then delayed the actual launch of operations earlier this year because of a conflict with Delhi International Airport regarding terminal usage.
