On International Yoga Day 2018, SpiceJet takes asanas to 35,000ft

New Delhi: It's been four years that SpiceJet has been celebrating the International Yoga Day on-board their flights. The airline is all set for another edition of the International Yoga Day tomorrow.

The global event will see the airline in partnership with Isha Foundation, conducting their on-board yoga, High on Yoga@35000 feet.

On the occasion, the airline's crew will perform yoga asanas specifically designed to be done on board. The crew will perform a 10-minute yoga session on board on select flights on June 21.
The Yoga Day celebrations will take place on select flights like Delhi-Cochin-Delhi, Delhi-Bagdogra-Delhi, Delhi-Bangalore-Delhi, Delhi-Goa-Delhi and Delhi-Pune on June 21.

The flights will have one crew member for the yoga activity. Over the past three years, the airline has seen participation from passengers too. The asanas will be conducted post take-off, observing all safety norms.
