Review of airport pick-up and drop system on the cards

Pune:  Given the chaos often caused by vehicles coming to receive or drop off passengers, the Airports Authority of India (AAI) is willing to re-evaluate and even consider devising a new pick-up and drop system at its airports.
“State for civil aviation minister Jayant Sinha tweeted than an evaluation of the current pick-up and drop service at the airports should be done. While the Pune airport has a solid system, a re-evaluation will show if improvement is possible,” an airport official said.
the Pune airport, the vehicular movement has somewhat been streamlined. “There are separate lanes for cabs. Traffic wardens ensure that vehicles, after dropping off passengers, move out quickly. Separate bays are there for Ola and Uber cabs as well,” another official said.
