Renovation work in full swing at airport

Panaji: Due to ‘unprecedented passenger traffic growth’ in recent years at the Goa airport in Dabolim, the Airports Authority of India (AAI) has taken up modification work at the terminal. This includes ‘complete renovation of all washrooms and measures to reduce waiting time by providing additional entry gates’.
“Modification works inside the terminal are in full swing,” read a tweet from the Goa airport’s official social media handle. The improvements to be carried out include installation of new signages, it said.
Systematic changes are also underway to improve the ground transportation system at the airport. Better food and beverage options too would soon be available.
