New Delhi: Taking over from its parent airline SilkAir, the regional wing of Singapore Airlines, will start its five-day a week operations to Hyderabad from June 15, airline's officials said.
Singapore Airlines, which currently flies to Hyderabad thrice a week, would hand over its operations to SilkAir. The south Indian city is the fourth destination in the county after Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram and Coimbatore.
The transfer of operations would present customers a wider choice of flight times as SilkAir will offer five times weekly services to Hyderabad for a start.
This will be increased to a daily frequency during the Northern Winter Schedule from 26 October 2009. The flights are subject to governmental approvals and slot availability.
