AISATS partners Samsung SDS for 255,000-tonne cargo hub at Noida airport

Air India SATS Airport Services Private Limited has signed a memorandum of understanding with Samsung Data Systems India Private Limited to streamline cargo movement from Samsung’s Noida manufacturing facility through the Multi Modal Cargo Hub at Noida International Airport. The partnership is aimed at improving export efficiency for high-value electronics by reducing transit time and strengthening supply chain reliability.

The collaboration comes at a time when Noida has emerged as a major electronics manufacturing cluster, producing smartphones, tablets, and related devices. By leveraging the proximity between Samsung’s plant and the cargo hub, the partnership is expected to enable faster throughput and improved access to global markets. Samsung SDS will integrate its logistics capabilities to support seamless movement and digital visibility across the export chain.

India’s electronics exports have seen significant growth, reaching around USD 47 billion in calendar year 2025. Mobile phone shipments continue to lead this growth, reinforcing the need for efficient and scalable logistics infrastructure. The agreement is positioned to support this trajectory by providing a structured export pathway for time-sensitive cargo.
