SpiceJet to add more planes by Jan'07

Mumbai: Low-cost airline 'SpiceJet Ltd' today said it will add five additional aircraft by January, 2007 that would nearly double its existing fleet.
By end of 2008, it expects to add 23 new aircraft to its fleet and would operate more than 250 flights on around 24 destinations, offering more than 35,000 seats per day, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
In October this year, the company would induct two more new-generation Boeing 737- 800 aircraft to its fleet and by year-end the company would add two more aircraft to its then fleet of eight, it added.
