Nod for aeropolis pre-feasibility study

Thiruvananthapuram: The State government on Saturday accorded sanction to the Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation (KSIDC) to conduct a pre-feasibility study for an Aeropolis centred on the Thiruvananthapuram International Airport.
The Aeropolis was a proposal put forth by the Airport Director in February. The proposal said it was a novel, inclusive growth concept for the premier airport of the State, envisaging economic interventions and creation of a common platform for all aviation-related activities of the major industrial and information technology units situated in the vicinity of the airport.
