Indian low-cost carrier GoAir has extended its engine support contract with Lufthansa Technik (LHT) covering an additional 18 of its CFM56-5B engines. The new agreement expands on the original Total Engine Support contract signed in April 2014 covering 16 of the CFM engines. GoAir said its decision to expand on its agreement with LHT is due to the growth in the size of its all-A320 family aircraft fleet which currently stands at 19.
