Patna-Bengaluru air service, four new flights from city soon

Five new flights would start operating from the city’s Jayaprakash Narayan International Airport soon.According to Patna airport’s AGM (air traffic management) Santosh Kumar, the Director General of Civil Aviation has approved an Indigo proposal to operate four new flights and that of GoAir to operate one new flight as part of their winter schedule. The number of flights from the airport would thus increase from 20 to 25.The five new flights include an Indigo flight on the Patna-Bengaluru route from October 24. The 6E 604 will be the first non-stop flight on the route and will take off from Patna at 8.35pm to reach the Kempegowda International Airport at Bengaluru at 2.30 hours.Patna-Kolkata fliers also have reasons to rejoice as GoAir would resume its flight on this route from October 30.
