GoAir Offers Rs. 500 Off On Return Flights Booked Using HDFC Bank Cards
As competition among airlines operating in the Indian market gains momentum, GoAir is offering a Rs. 500 off on returns flights on bookings made using HDFC Bank cards under a limited-period scheme. GoAir's this scheme is applicable on tickets purchased using HDFC Bank credit and debit cards till March 31, 2017, the airline - which competes with the likes of Air India, IndiGo, Jet Airways, SpiceJet and Vistara - said on its website. "Use promo code GOHDFC, while you book your tickets with your HDFC Bank Credit or Debit Card and get Rs. 500 off on your return flight. Hurry! Book now at www.goair.in," the GoAir website added.
GoAir's 'Save Smart-Fly Smart' scheme is valid on bookings made on the GoAir.in website and the airline's mobile app, the carrier said, adding: "Offer is discounted on Base Fare only and not valid for any form of cash back."
GoAir, under a separate scheme, also introduced an 8 per cent off on base fare for senior citizens.
Indian aviation market has seen robust passenger growth seen in the past few months which has led to added competition among airlines, according to analysts. Domestic air passenger traffic surged nearly 16 per cent year-on-year in February, data from aviation regulator DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation) showed. Indian carriers together flew a total of 86.55 lakh passengers in February 2017, it said.
Also, the trend of discounts and benefits being offered by carriers is likely to continue in the short term going forward, analysts further said.
