Giving a boost to solo women travellers is Vistara airlines' newly launched #VistaraWomanFlyer service. The service includes assigning preferred seats to solo women travellers flying on any domestic sector, as well as providing baggage and transport assistance on arrival.
As per the details shared by Vistara, customers can pre-select seats during booking, after booking through the 'manage my booking' feature as well as during web check-in. For those who have do not pre-select their preferred seats, the carrier will ensure only window or aisle seats are assigned to solo women travellers at check-in.
In addition, uniformed Vistara staff will be available at the baggage claim area holding #VistaraWomanFlyer Arrivals Assistance placards, to assist women travellers with their luggage, and with the booking of airport-authorised taxis, as well as escort such customers up to the taxi stand upon request.
