Air India holds e-auction of 14 properties

A total of 14 properties belonging to Air India in Mumbai, including a building in Bandra, will be auctioned by Wednesday evening. The e-auction is taking place in Delhi, and the most expensive property on the list is worth Rs 122 crore, while the cheapest is Rs 85 lakh. The properties are spread across Peddar Road, Bandra, Malad, Santa Cruz and Altamount Road.

The auction, which started on June 20 and will conclude on June 21, is being conducted by MSTC Ltd, a state-run auctioneering company. The most expensive property is from Bandra west, located on Pali Hill. For the second lot of property, a flat on the eighth floor of Sterling Apartment located on Peddar Road has been priced at Rs 18.64 crore.

There are eight flats all located in Malad, and the other flat is from Santacruz West. The remaining three flats are from Altamount’s Jupiter building.

A broker from Mumbai said, “The prices are reasonable. In fact, in most cases, they are better than the market rate may it be the Sterling or the Malad flats.”
