Kerala native arrested with 5 kg ganja at airport

Vasco: The customs sleuth at Dabolim International Airport recovered five kilograms of marijuana (ganja) worth Rs 5 lakh from an international passenger native of Kasaragod in Kerala, on Saturday.
Mohammed Ramsheed  Mogralabdulla, the accused passenger, arrived by Air Arabia flight (G9-492) from Bahrain via Sharjah approached for arrival immigration clearance at Immigration counter. During course of profiling it was noticed that the passenger was a frequent traveller to Gulf countries, but used to stay there only for one or two days. This aroused suspicions and the passenger was thus interrogated. During the interrogation it was revealed that the passenger had travelled to Bahrain on visit visa, but was denied entry by immigration as his visa details was not uploaded and thus the passenger stayed at transit visa at the airport for one day and returned to Goa by Air Arabia flight as normal passenger. Initially, the passenger claimed that he had no baggage with him but later confessed that he had a trolley baggage which one of his friend’s friend had handed over to him at Kasargod, Kerala.
