New Delhi: Their big-ticket merger may be on the cards, but when it comes to seeking flight rights to new international routes, both Jet Airways and Air Sahara are still arch rivals. Or so it seems. Jet and Sahara have separately sought government nod to operate daily flights to Bangkok - a route that was recently opened up for designated private airlines from India.
While Jet has sought permission to operate flights to Bangkok from three Indian cities - Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata - Air Sahara has identified Delhi and Kolkata as the points of origin for its flights, government sources told ToI.
