New Delhi: The CPI(M), the UPA coalition's main prop, has urged Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to keep in "abeyance" the Government's decision to handover Delhi and Mumbai airports to private parties, saying a unilateral decision could adversely affect industrial relations.

In a letter to Singh, CPI(M) General Secretary Prakash Karat said the decision to handover the airports should be kept in abeyance pending finalisation of the report of the 'Tripartite Committee' to assuage the feelings of employees.
