Draft civil aviation policy ready

New Delhi:The long awaited Civil Aviation policy is finally going to Cabinet by the end of the month. The draft policy prepared by the Civil Aviation Ministry is ready.
The ministry in the draft policy paper has revived the earlier suggestion of an aviation cess. However, what will be bad news for all private airlines like GoAir and Air Deccan is the fact that the ministry wants to keep the FDI cap for them at the present 40 per cent.
What's worse is that no foreign airline can pick up stake in any domestic carrier.
