Jet Airways registers 15% rise in profit

Panaji: Jet Airways has recorded 15 per cent increase in net profit to Rs 4.5 billion and has announced 60 per cent dividend.
The quarterly net profit is up by 71% to Rs 2.3 billion
The company has also posted 39 per cent rise in revenue. Commenting on the results, the chairman, Mr Naresh Goyal said:
The company was awarded the first BML Munjol Award for Excellence in Learning and Development in the private sector category.
It also bagged The Star Of The Industry Award for the Best Domestic Airline for the year 2005 instituted by the ITM Institute of Hotel Management.
It was adjudged India’s most popular domestic airline at the SAME 2006 Awards function, in association with Samsung, in New Delhi on April 23, 2006.
