Chennai: Airport sources and police said the anonymous call was received by the city police control room aound 1.30 AM stating that a bomb had been placed aboard an Emirates airlines flight coming here from Dubai.
Immediately security peronnel, including bomb disposal squad, were informed and when the Airbus landed here at 4.10 AM with 255 passengers, a thorough check was made but nothing was found, the sources said adding the call proved to be a hoax.
