Bombardier studying the small business-jet market

Bombardier Inc., the leading business jet manufacturer, is "closely watching" the dynamic growth of the ultra light sector, James Hoblyn, vice-president, business aircraft, at the Bombardier Aerospace division says.
"We're weighing the potential carefully, but we'd only jump in if conditions were right and profitability assured," he said after the company's pre-Farnborough Air Show briefing at its Dorval plant.
At the same briefing, Michael McAdoo, vice-president, strategy and business development at Bombardier Aerospace Michael McAdoo, said three year-old boom in world business jet sales will slow by 2008 and then pick up again in 2010 as demand from emerging markets such as India, Russia and China leads another upward push in the cycle.
