Jet may start Kenya Charter Operation

Mombasa: Chairman of the Mombasa and Coast Tourist Association, Councillor Kuldip Sondhi,
said the Indian Deputy High Commissioner, Mr. Manpreet Vohra expressed the hope that given the right approach one of India's largest domestic airlines, (Jet Airline), will start a charter service to Kenya, specifically into Mombasa.
The Chairman was addressing the business session of the association's AGM held at the Reef Hotel, Nyali.
"An agreement has now been reached and remains only to be implemented by the Carrier", Mr. Sondhi said.
"Mr Vohra also sent me a list of leading Indian tour operators. This is available at the MCTA office and members should make full use of it'.
He mentioned that 'at this unexpected and rewarding meeting Mr. Vohra had given a fascinating account of domestic tourism in India which, in fact, drives the tourism industry".
, Mr. Sondhi added.
