Rain damages radar at Mumbai airport

Mumbai: Arrivals and departures at Mumbai airport have been affected for the past three days after a heavy downpour damaged the radar system, according to information available from the Airports Authority of India.
Sources confirmed that the downpour affected the localiser installed on the main runway of the airport. However, Wednesday's rains damaged the equipment installed on the ground level as a result of which the coverage of the radar was affected.
