Adelaide Airport has the highest aeronautical fees of eight Australia-Pacific airports analysed in a Melbourne Airport study released yesterday.
It is also the sixth most expensive airport in the world behind New Jersey, Toronto, Athens, Osaka, and New York's JFK.
Melbourne had the lowest fees out of the Australia-Pacific airports in the study, while Mumbai in India was the cheapest in the world.
The report compared charges including fees for landing, aircraft parking, terminal navigation and passenger related charges such as departure tax, at 58 international airports.
