Australian air Express joins Technopark IT firms

Thiruvananthapuram: Australian air Express (AaE) became the fifth partner to join the core group of influence (CGI) forum set up by Technopark headquartered at IBS Software Services here.
AaE is a joint venture between Qantas Airways Limited and Australia Post.
They will now participate in the development of a next generation air cargo and logistics management system - iCargo - being developed by IBS, a statement said Thursday.
The other international airlines, which are already part of the CGI forum, include Air New Zealand Cargo, Gulf Air, South African Airways Cargo and Qantas Freight.
IBS Software Services is a global IT company providing world-class solutions to the travel transportation and logistics (TTL) industry, embarked on the development of iCargo in 2003.
iCargo will enable the airlines, ground handlers and freight forwarders to enhance cargo business profitability and respond rapidly to changing market conditions.
