Mumbai: Mukesh Ambani was presented the first NDTV Profit Global Indian Leader award by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in New Delhi yesterday.
While Ratan Tata was presented the Business Leader Award, Nandan Nilekani was presented the Inspiring India Viewers Choice Award.
The award winners in 14 different verticals were Jet Airways in aviation, ICICI Bank in banking, Nokia India in consumer durables, Hindustan Lever in FMCG, Larsen & Toubro in infrastructure, Life Insurance Corporation of India in insurance companies, Hewlett & Packard in IT hardware, Infosys in IT software, Fed Ex in shipping & logistics, Kotak in mutual fund, ONGC in oil & gas, Westside in retail, Bharti Airtel in telecom and Kerala Tourism in travel & tourism, respectively.
