Pilots Training: Mumbai firm ties up with Russian college

Chennai: A Mumbai-based immigration-cum-education overseas consulting company, ERA Recruitants, has entered into a contract with Russia's Sasovo Flying College of Civil Aviation to provide Commercial Pilots Licence (CPL) training to students in India.
Addressing presspersons on the strategic partnership with a Russian Education Consulting company, PORU-S, to promote Russian education in India and South Asia, Raja Roy Choudhury, Managing Director of ERA Recruitants, said the 14-month comprehensive CPL training programme, subsidised by the Russian Government, would cost around Rs.13 lakh.
A student-pilot, after acquiring the CPL from Sasovo, had to undergo a conversion exam conducted by the Director-General of Civil Aviation in India to fly in Indian air space.
