Air-India to investigate Amisha’s run-in with staffer

Mumbai: Following actor Amisha Patel’s run-in with an Air India staffer on Friday morning at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, the airline has decided to set up a one-man committee to investigate the incident.
The probe will be conducted by S Mukherjee, the officiating Executive Director (Corporate Affairs) for the airlines.
Mukherjee is likely to submit his findings within two to three days.
Meanwhile, Newsline has learnt that a request from the office of Air India Chairman and Managing Director, V Thulasidas, had been received for upgrading Patel from executive to first class.
However, the airlines’ official stand is that the actor was upgraded since she is a commercially important person, which means the individual concerned is seen as a potential frequent flier.
