London: Abdul Patel, the teenage son of immigrants from India, has been remanded in custody by the City of Westminster magistrate in central London till 29 August. Patel is among the 11 suspects charged in connection with the alleged recent airline terror plot all of whom have been remanded in custody by the court.
Amin Asmin Tariq, the suspended security worker with Jet Airways, is among the 11 uncharged suspects who are still in police custody. If the 23-year-old is not formally charged within the next couple of days then his solicitors can apply for his release.
