Chandigargh: The Jagson Airlines is all set to operate flights from Chandigarh to the hill stations of Shimla, Kullu and Dharamsala from this September. Earlier, the flights directly went to these places from New Delhi, without touching Chandigarh.
According to Sunil Dutt, Airport Controller, Chandigarh, the Himachal-bound Jagson Airlines flights will be landing at Chandigarh airport from next month.
Jagson will be operating flights to Kullu on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
The flight will take off from New Delhi at 6.20 am and reach Chandigarh at 7.20 am. From here, it will start for Kullu at 7.50 am and reach there at 8.20 am. Thereafter, the flight will take off for Dharamsala at 8.50 am and reach there at 9.20 am. Again, the aircraft will fly to Kullu at 9.40 am, landing there at 10.10 am. At 10.40 am, it will fly to Chandigarh. After reaching here at 11.10 am, it will fly back to New Delhi at 11.40 am.
The timings will be similar for the Shimla route also, but operating days will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
