Japan Airlines increases flights to China, India, Thailand

Tokyo: Japan Airlines Ltd (JAL) said it will increase flights to Bangkok, Guangzhou and New Delhi but cut services to Chicago and Manila as it tries to raise passenger numbers and return to profit.
Asia's largest carrier said it will increase flights from Tokyo to Bangkok from 14 to 21 per week and from Tokyo to New Delhi from three to four flights per week starting on October 29, subject to government approval.
JAL said it would also start a daily service between the central Japanese industrial hub of Nagoya and the southern Chinese manufacturing port of Guangzhou, up from three flights a week.
