SpiceJet Q4 net loss of Rs 13 cr

New Delhi: Announcing the financial performance for its first full year of operations, low-cost carrier SpiceJet on Wednesday reported a net loss of Rs 13 crore in the fourth quarter ended May 2006, while the same for the full year stood at Rs 41 crore.
The company said its total income during fourth quarter stood at Rs 154 crore, while it was Rs 453.14 crore for the full year.
Commenting on the results, SpiceJet chairman Shiddhanta Sharma said the overall performance in the first year was satisfactory and the airlines hoped to improve in the current fiscal.
The airlines` operating profit stood at Rs 71.52 crore for the year ended May, 2006.
