AI passengers arrive after 28-hour delay

New Delhi: Days after disruption of its Frankfurt-Los Angeles flight for three days, about 320 Air India passengers from Riyadh landed at Calicut this afternoon after being stranded for over 28 hours due to a technical fault in the aircraft.
"The flight (AI-924) landed at about 1400 hours in Calicut", an airline spokesman said. The fault was rectified and the aircraft took off from Riyadh this morning. The flight was originally scheduled to arrive at 1000 hours yesterday.
