Mumbai: Jet Airways expects that close to half of its revenue will come from international operations over the next three years, as the airline plans to increase its presence in the crowded global civil aviation space.
"We are aiming at 45 per cent of our revenue from international operations, while the balance will come from the domestic routes... studies are on to enhance our revenue share from international operations,'' Jet Airways Chairman Naresh Goyal told reporters after the company's annual general meeting (AGM) here on Wednesday.
At present, international operations account for 12 per cent of the airline's revenue.
The airline has already applied for various routes across the globe, including in the U.S., Europe, the U.K. and various Asian destinations. Mr. Goyal said the airline would be able to fly the U.S. next year.
