Lankan airline to operate flights from Colombo to Dabolim

Panaji: SriLankan Airlines will become the first foreign airline to operate scheduled international flights from Colombo to Dabolim. The maiden schedule flight will land in Goa on October 30.
Ms Manimegalai, sales manager SriLankan Airlines, told The Navhind Times, that initially the airline would operate two flights per week on Mondays and Saturdays and the frequency could be increased depending upon response from the people.
Dabolim would be the tenth destination in India where the SriLankan Airlines would operate, with others being Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Trichy, Calicut, Kochi, and Trivandrum, said the airline official.
She also said that the airline also offers affordable and exciting packages (which include airfare, taxes, 2-night/3-day stay, sightseeing and transport in Sri Lanka for Rs 20,300 to people who want to visit as tourists.
